I dont mind being a commonwealth, it means we come first in the commonwealth games! But i would support being a Republic just as i did 10 some years ago! How can we answer to another country. When they say jump we say how high!

Depends on what sort of republic you got in mind.
Who will the judges and court system answer to?
Will there be a president and how will we select him?
Will the president be in charge of the armed forces?

Not if it will be the same as the government wanted it to be when we voted the last time for it. Where they pick the president from amongst themselves...no bloody way Jose. And not if they are going to change our flag either....so NO is my answer.
