I played football during my junior year of high school. I am now a freshman in college. I wore a helmet which pushed down on my forehead, and furrowed my brow, which makes me look like I am frowning all the time. It is not at all attractive. I want to get rid of it. I thought it would go away with time, but it hasn't. Has anyone had this problem? What can I do to fix this, and get my face back to looking normal again. I would really appreciate it if you could go in-depth on this as I have searched for answers time and time again. Also if you don't have any ideas on what I should do to remedy this, then what type of doctor would I see? thanks a lot.

I can't fathom that a helmet did this to your brow. All three of my sons played football, as children and in high school. It didn't effect them one way or the other. Its possible there is some nerve damage from compression?

See a regular doctor to see if there may be a problem with a nerve near your eyebrow.

If all is normal, then, a plastic surgeon should be able to get your eyebrow to look as you like. Good luck.

There are books on facial exercises, and you may be able to have botox injections as well.
