Can someone please give me an idea where my love of PVC clothes (on women), has developed from.

Normally fetishism stems from something that occurred at a very early age.

I cannot think of any situation in my youth or younger, which would elicit such strong feelings!!!

Any thoughts.

Sometimes people just acquire fetishes without a known reason, but these are almost universally men. It's because you have an obvious example of arousal connected to a thought or action, so you make the connection easily.

The real question is, do you want to fight it or not? If not, then you find someone who will accomodate you. If you want to fight it, then you have to dissociate orgasm from involvement or thoughts about PVC clothes. Otherwise, when you're young, a fetish is just a nice accompaniment to sex, but if you keep reinforcing the same thoughts and behaviors, eventually you require the fetish item in order to orgasm. Do you want that?

According to psychologists there are many different reasons we develop a fetish. Here is one of many. Various neurologists pointed out that fetishism could be the result of neuronal cross-links between neighbouring regions in the human brain. For example, in 2002 Vilaynur S. Ramachandran stated that the region processing sensory input from the feet lies immediately next to the region processing sexual stimulation. As long as this fetish is not causing any problems then go with the flow.
