It's probably the controller on the motherboard. it would require a motherboard replacement. You can try another hard drive first. They're almost all compatible for laptops.

This Problem might have many causes, and depending on the causes are the solutions:

Cause 1 - Laptop fell off from a high place (70+ cm)

Solution:
(1) Checkout HDD Jack inside the laptop, try getting a new one of yours is damaged.

(2) If your HDD is not equipped with *** (anti-shock system), you might need to buy a new HDD as your HDD might be damaged, although it is a weak probability beause you said it sometimes works.

(3) Concerning your Keyboard, try pressing the keys that keep repeating during the boot or startup. If they don't stop repeating, then just take the keyboard out, and clean it thoroughly with water.

Cause 2 - Some liquid was spilled on the laptop.

Solution:
(1) Just clean the keyboard thoroughly with water

Time to get a new laptop, or if you want, just replace the hard disk. Better get it checked out as soon as possible while there's still time to save your precious files.
