If there is any apprehension in your mind that this may happen, Insist that a nurse be present, or go to another Doctor It is an offense punishable by Law. REPORT, immediately either to his peers, and they will take care of it , or the Law. Most Doctors are honest and professional. However there may be a "bad apple in any bushel."

Yes, I had a doctor. rub my clitoris and I asked him what he was doing and he said he didnt like to use the KY jelly or whatever they use when doing a pelvic exam to get me wet for easy access I guess.. I was 9 months pregnant. A week before she was born. If thats not molesting then what is it. I was only 20 and too stupid to know what to do abt it then. I Told him pretty much to stop it because it wasnt going to working. He stopped..I;m surprised he just didnt go ahead and pull it out and masterbate while he was at it. Still disgusts me 35 years later. It was a miltary doctor in Schofield Barrack Hawaii.

Only immature or perverted doctors will do that. Most doctors are disciplined people and know how to regulate their conduct. At the same time, i have come across women who act prude and resist doctors who examine them physically in the presence of women assistants like midwifes or Nurses, to keep up a pretence of being modest, only to end up being discovered with highly risky diseases which could have been contacted only from promiscuous behavior. It is this lot who blame the doctors of misonduct as sort of anticipatory bail against their truth getting known outside. Doctors will hardly ever disclose their patients' secrets to others.

If a Dr. were to do such a thing it wouldn't take long for him to end up in jail. And no, male Doctors who choose this line of work are not perverts they are professionals who are there to keep women & unborn babies healthy. Most are married with kids of there own.

There have been cases of such abuse years ago.
Any Dr. that has any common sense will make sure there is a nurse in the room during the exam.
Hope this helps.

no they examine you, it's part of them making sure everything is ok. The examination is not sexual at all. if you've had an experience where you think that you where touched in a sexual manner, i'd report it.

If they do, it's a criminal offense and needs to be reported immediately. As well, you need to find a different doctor.
