i just bought a new 64 bit mother board with a 64 bit athlon proccesor and i put 4 gb of ram. the cmp won't start.it gives me a beepbeep.that's iti loaded the windows xp cd formatted my harddrive after installin the hardware but it still doesn't work it goes back to the windows xp setupplz help

well i installed windows xp pro and formatted my hdd and installed it and it asked for a reboot.i did a reboot and it starts going though the setup again even without the cd. i have changed the boot sequence to hdd then cd but once it boots from the hdd.it gives me an error."Boot from cd..." it says disk boot failure. error operating system

If it going back to the Xp setup then i think you need to go in to the bios settings and change boot order, need a little more detail really,

The only person here who has any idea is killa. Try installing and booting with half the ram.

You should have bought Intel brand instead of AMD, Return it back and get C2D core 2 duo Intel processor.
