I am not married but shoot straight from the heart fix her a romantic dinner with candles all around with soft music playing in the background. Barry Manolo, or something on that order.
Have a single red rose in the center of the table.
After you have eaten tell her that you want to purpose a toast to her.
Get two long stem campaign glass put ared ribion around the stem of her glass fill it full of champaine then make your purposel .
Tell her what is in your heart I am sure that you can come up with something don't beafair it will be all right.

I have never heard of purposeing a girl however I have heard of proposing to a girl which is usuall done on one knee saying her full name then "will you marry me" That is the proper way to do it and then you give her the engagement ring.

Firstly let me tell you that 95% of the girls in this earth are unable to reciprocate the same love what the boys give them.They always show reasons but their answers are unsatisfying always.So if you feel that your girl lies in the other 5% who are themselves the love angels then just make her understand your feelings.Thats it where u hit a sixer like SACHIN OR SOURAV.All the best.(What ever I have told is out of my own experience)

take her for nice romantic dinner.. then take her to some memorable place( plc whr u went for ur first date, had ur 1st kiss or whr u 1st realised u really loved her) and then go down on one knee and say " i want u for the rest of my life, will u be mine forever" or " will u marry me" and the like.

u should firstly be friend to her and than make her feel comfortable in your company and when u r sure that yes she is ur miss right than say her directly that i love u or i like u but be true in ur feelings
