that's good because it may grow back. shouldn't have been taken off in the first place. How would you like to have your labia cut off when you were a baby?

The foreskin can't grow back, per se. It's possible that his penis is being shoved into his body a little and the surrounding skin is covering it a little. If this is the case a doctor should probably take a look.

The skin can fuse with the glans and cause adhesions and skin bridges. This is generally only something that happens in infant circumcisions and can be fairly common. The adhesions and skin bridges must be taken care of immediately if they form, otherwise they can cause trouble later on. Most skin bridges aren't too bad and can actually be taken care of later, but some are quite severe (see link).

Take him in. The skin can start to grow back "up". My son was circumcized and everything was fine with it until the 1 year appointment. For some reason, between 9 months and 1 year it started to grow back "up". If it's not too bad the dr can fix it right in the office. The baby will cry and it will be tender for a few days, but it will be OK.

My doctor said it just happens sometimes. Nothing you did or didn't do

A doctor has probably looked at it, since babies have so many check ups when they are little. My pediatrician looked at my babies genitals a every visit. It is common for little boys to have extra skin on their penis which wrinkles up.The extra skin stretches during erection, some boys have lots of skin some not so much. No two are alike.

He probably had a loose circumcision, not as much skin cut off (which is more common now), ask a doc how to care for it so it doesn't adhere to the head of the penis.

that was errogoneous skin and it's not your penis, you shouldn't have done that in the first place. It's just as easy to keep clean as a vagina, unless that is you don't clean your vagina then that boy wouldn't get taught to clean his penis. So what if i want to cut off a part of your vagina while your sleeping tonight cuz then you'll have a cleaner and better looking vagina. you won't have much of a choice in the matter but that's ok

Yes, it's a good idea to take him to the doctor for a check up.
In any case congratulations for the circumcision, it has many benefits: cleaner, healthier, less risk of urinary infections, STD's, etc...

Good luck!
