Driving on a flat tire will do the following:

Destroy the tire
Cause possible damage to the drive axle
Damage the rim.
Be extremely unsafe!

If a tire goes flat while driving, get off the gas and ease the car to the side of the road or a parking spot. Go very easy with the brakes, and no sharp turns as you could lose control or have the tire come off the rim.

It would be cheaper for you to take a taxi or public transportation..

Don't drive it

So many younger people learn about the importance of having a spare tire the HARD way.

The BEST way to drive on a flat is with the engine turned off, and the gear selector in "P"

Try a can of FIX-A-FLAT, and keep a spare can on hand until you get that spare tire.

You should call someone who can put air in your tire long enough to get you to a tire repair place. Even driving slowly, you will ruin your tire and possibly damage your car. If you just woke up and noticed it, it may be a slow leak. In that case, you will be able to put air in it and drive to get it fixed.

Drive as fast as you can.

Just kidding. You can't drive around with a flat tire. Besides the damage you'll do to your car, I'm pretty sure you'll get picked up by the cops. It's illegal to drive with too little tread, so I'm pretty sure that no tire is also illegal...

Get a can (or two) of tire inflater/repair. This should re-inflate your tire and repair the leak too. If you drive on it you will damage the tire and maybe the rim too. If you do not have the time to do it right, you will not have the time to do it over.
