mine holds 1 gig, it's a fraction of the size and price of an ipod and has BLACK earphone wires.
Rechargeagle 1amp battery lasts forever AND I don't follow a stupid Apple trend.

apple ipod is definitely no doubt the best
don't ever buy creative it's very bad in quality, all my friends warn me of that as it only last for a very short period of time if u r a clumsy person
i will suggest samsung or sony
i've been using samsung for a few years before switching to sony and i'm quite satisfied with both.
the samsung new mp3 with built-in speaker is really good!
i regret not buying it!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have creative MP3 player and it's great and my brother got i-pod and it's also great and those are the best two in the market

i have an off brand i think. and so it cheaper and it holds alot of songs.... pretty good deal... you think?
