Spyware can damage your system files, and cause your PC to run slowly. Spyware are designed to spy on you!
Personal information is secretly recorded with a variety of techniques, including logging keystrokes, recording Internet web browsing history, and scanning documents on the computer's hard disk. Purposes range from overtly criminal (theft of passwords and financial details) to the merely annoying (recording Internet search history for targeted advertising, while consuming computer resources). Spyware may collect different types of information. Some variants attempt to track the websites a user visits and then send this information to an advertising agency. More malicious variants attempt to intercept passwords or credit card numbers as a user enters them into a web form or other applications.

Use a good Spyware scanner and clean PC.

Hello, spyware and viruses can slow down computers to a halt and disrupt your computer from running and/or wipe out your data.

It's important that you have good antivirus and antispyware programs, such as AVG and Spybot Search and Destroy, clean up all spyware and viruses.

It's also important that you keep those applications updated.

Good luck

First, it depends on your virus scanner, as some trial vision virus scanner will info you that you have higher number of threats on your computer, just to see that you have every reason to buy their product, but if you trust your scanner, it depends on the type of virus dictated on your computer, and it is highly advised to get rid of any viruses/spyware for the good performance of your computer. If you don't trust your scanner, you may click on the below link to downland and run AVG anti spy-ware, it is a free ware http://www.filehippo.com/download_ewido/ , this program was formally Ewido, but just recently they changed the name of their anti spy-wear program to AVG, so don't get confused

many viruses are not that "lethal" so no, on a practical scale, you will never face trouble from the bastards in a lifetime - but make sure you keep your scanner "on" whenever these viruses make inroads.
