u know the tab at the top of the screen where u type in where u wana search, how do u get rid of the list where you've already been, i know i haven't worded this right, but i'm trying to work stuff out, i'm crap on computers!

If you are using IE. Click on tools>internet options> clear history.
You might want to change the length of time to keep history as well, then click ok.

Go to Start - Control Panel - Network & Internet Conections - Internet Options - Browsing History & clear it out. Done.

do you mean the address bar or the 'tabs' that open when you open many pages on yahoo? if it's the latter, just click on the X in the top right hand corner of the tab - not of the whole page. also, go to internet options and go to browsing history and delete all. hope this is what you mean!?

As well as using Tools - Internet Options, you can use Ccleaner. It clears out all kinds of unwanted crud.

in internet explorer go to tools/internet options from here you can delete your browsing history.
you can also download third party programmes that will clear all your tracks, I use window washer

Go into tools, browser options. Then clear search and URL, that will clear the lot.
