Abused daughter makes false accusation and most focus on the skin color issues. Has any novelist or screenwriter thought from the viewpoint of an abused child, an abused daughter? Even the bulk of stuff about the Book of Job in OT ignores the lesson of treating daughters and sons with equal respect, etc.

There have been lots of movies and books about abused children. An excellent and uplifting movie is called "The Journey of Natty Gann." It was made in the 1980s. Another was a made-for-TV movie called "Something About Amelia," which starred Ted Danson (of "Cheers" fame) as the abusive father. These are just two that pop to mind.
