I love this song and in fact i just listened to it today. It is about a guy that is so sad over the loss of his woman and he knows he will most likely never get her back

from my own point of view the person is leaving and is not coming back for good and there is nothing that he can do to make her come back but just to watch her leave,so all he has is just the memory o f the things they used to do ithink the lover will be dieing or is already dead thats why he says you coming back to me is against all odds because she is not coming back
