Ok heres my take, I'm so sick of nfl fans especially the ones that call themselves Buffalo Bills fans, bashing JP. Hes been in the leauge for 3 yrs now, but get this has only played in, not started but played in 27 games, less than 2 seasons thats less than Eli Manning, and people are quick to say hes a waste of a pick and a terrible QB. You look at his #'s this far in his career compared to those of Brett Favre and Peyton Manning when they were in their second and 3rd seasons and Jp's # are better. Hes greatly improved this year, his completion percentage nearly raised by %20 and his rating up nearly 30pts. Not to mention hes led his team on 3 game winning drives. He has showed great poise this year and has me extremely excited for next year seeing as how many "experts" only saw the Bills winning 4-5 games this year. So what you think ???

I prefer to make judgements on a player til I've seen him play quite a bit. I've only seen him a couple times but he does look pretty good. He may become another Jeff Garcia, maybe a bit better. Garcia has had a good career. I think you might have a good one in Buffalo.

I am a Bills fan, and before the season started i was all for Brady Quinn (i was foreseeing a 3-4 win season and Losman doing terrible). After this season, i was definately impressed how Losman improved so much over the year. I knew he had the big arm, but he made some bad decisions last year. He seems to be more comfortable with the speed of the game, and although he doesnt have the greatest receiving core, he still puts up good numbers (he was 10th in QB rating before the Tenn game). I am impressed with Lee Evans, and if the Bills can get a better #2 besides him (price, reed and parrish would all be good #3's) Losman can continue to improve. His mobility is also very good, and even with a bad offensive line, he still makes plays.

Im not a bills fan so i dont know all the numbers, however I do go to University at Buffalo so the bills games are often on the tvs in the dorms, plus i consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the NFL in general. From what I have seen, in my judgement JP is better than people give him credit for. However while I do see amazing potential in some young guys, his potential it just not to that level. He's got potential to be a good starter in this league for several years, and with a good team around him hes got superbowl potential, but I dont see him ever being a pro bowler or mvp type player. Hes definitely good enough to be starting for them, even if he is a little inconsistant at times

Im a Bills Fan through and through I cried when wide right happened sitting in my living room with my whole family holding hands to be heart broken year after year and all i want is a damn playoff run and you will not see any True Bills fan happy until you have a Jim Kelly type of Game Winning QB Bills fans myself included are sick of going to a game to watch them lose and lose by a point or by 3 or by 7 all things that would have been in reach if he would have made one less mistake on third down or say he could get a touchdown in the red zone but when you win games against Jacksonville but Lose to Detroit there is one problem one HUGE PROBLEM CONSTANCY........Yeah I know he has the 8th best QB rating this year but he needs to win games for Bills Fans to Get behind him.....True Buffalo Fans are there to make your life great when your winning but also make it a living hell if you lose by one point and see the Playoff hopes disapear once again year after year

You know why people bash JP? Because the Bills themselves aren't that great of a team. I see alot of potential in JP. The Bills have improved and they are getting other positins they need i the draft. JP will be fine, and in 2 years the Bills will be contending for the playoffs bye again.

I too am a Bflo fan and my advice is to stop listening to the "experts". Half the time they're wrong.....don't forget the experts choose draft picks.....Ryan Leaf is a prime example. Your smart enough to make your own conclusions right?
My take....I think he has "it"...strong arm, guts, *********, and running ability to escape the pocket. Gotta put a good line in front of him and he'll do good it not excellent.
Personally, I was impressed with the Miami Dolphins game Dec 17th(I think). Dude was throwing a frozen rope into the wind...nice tight spirals.
Consider this year more experience and hope next year he can improve even more. I say he's here to stay.

Just look at his stats. He is of starting calibre. 62.9% completion rating. 18 TDs and only 12 INTs. Great QB for the Bills. He will be only the 3rd QB in Bills history to take every snap under center for the whole season if he finishes this weekends game. just look at the stats and see how much he has grown over the last 2 seasons.

If the Bills could ever get the rest of the team straight, Losman would be a fine leader for the squad. Much like David Carr, though, he'll never get any respect until his team consistently wins games.
