I always say to my partner that if i was lying to him or cheating on him that i could never look him straight in the eye without feeling guilty and im assuming this would show on my face

Apart from little white lies about presents and such, she has never and would never lie to me. She is just not that type of person. I have been guilty of some little lies to her and she always knows although at the time she does not always say so. She says that my eyes change in a very small way when I lie. When I am caught out in a lie I get breathless and feel my pulse rate go up.
Happy New Year.

You can kind of feel it by a difference in:

- eye contact (it is hard for her to look in my eyes while telling a lie)
- body language (I can usually tell in her voice and actions that she is not quite comfortable explaining)

I heard that one can tell by seeing how the person looks up when retrieving either a memory or making something up. Eyes looking upwards to the right is retrieving a memory whilst looking upward to th left is using the imagination.

Depends on what he is lying about, if you suspect an affair, loads of signs, two mobile phones, always dressed up, not answering calls, list is endless
Anything else his eyes will turn pink.......thats wot my mum said.

When you comfront a person, watch the eyes, they go a little funny if they are lying They will put their hands in front of them if they are hiding something my boss use to watch for.

I don't. I trust her.
I find that life is more fulfilling that way.
If you are LOOKING for lies from your partner, then your partner may assume that you would be prepared to lie if it suited you.
It is hardly a basis for a happy partnership.

A lot of people have said look in the eyes. I tell you this..... if they are anything like me then the eyes wont show a single thing. Nor will be lips be shaking.

But heres a solution........ why not make him pamper him and make him feel guilty, that way if he has anything to tell you he'll feel soooooo guilty that he'll admit to his lies. (Sweet)

Some people lie so convincingly that you only find out from an outside source what the truth really is.
