It's more complex than that.

There was an population bottleneck, which means that any two non africans - A Chinese and an Aborginine for example, share very similar DNA - more than for any non-African and a African compared.

In fact all for all modern humans, mitochondrial DNA has been tracked back to just one African woman who lived 10 000 generations ago – 'mitochondrial Eve'.

When mitochondrial DNA from certain populations in Africa are sampled, they can be compared with European mitochondrial DNA. The mutation difference between the two populations can then be compared, and a 'clock' can be produced, enabling the rate of mutation in mitochondria to be established. This produces a time-scale which indicates when modern Europeans first left Africa.

The genetic survey that produced the whole Mitochondrial Eve scenario didn't just sample Africans and Europeans – it sampled genes from people all over the planet. When mitochondrial DNA was compared, the survey discovered a startling result.

Fundamental similarities in mitochondrial DNA in living humans suggested that we all contain genetic material from a single woman who was living in Africa around 200,000 years ago.

No that is speculative theory, a theroy can not be proven or disroven. If there was traffic between Siberia and America what makes you think it was a one way only bridge? Some recent finds from grave robbers, archologists, suggest that the American Indian is older than other races, our stories which are just as valid as the Bible or Torah, tellus that we were created here, some say we came from the 7 Star Nations, the Platies, which we knew it had 7 stars and modern science didn't confirm this until 1962! When they discovered one revolved around another. Others sasy we emerged out of Wind Cave in the Black Hills. I don't but the Bering Straight migration theory.

Even though you're not quite accurate about where civilization started, that's only one theory, and another holds that an even more ancient civilization was here on this planet before the ice age and was destroyed when a comet hit the Gulf of Mexico, but some of the human traces of that civilization still exist.

Getting back to your first theory, scientists and archeologists believe that modern civilization began in the Tigris - Euphrates area, which would put it in modern Iraq so we're not Africans, we're all from the MIDDLE EAST. Read a book once in a while, a mind is a terrible thing to waste, even a tiny little one.

through fact many Europeans wanted to stay in Europe and not migrate to united statesa.. maximum folk of Africans in early instances did not come to the "new international" by using selection. They have been given a unfastened cost ticket by using evil slave investors. i could say, "unfavorable Africans!"

I think we need to have more exploration in Asia before we decide exactly where man originated, or if he originated in one spot only. That we all share common ancestors is pretty much a sure thing, but you have to realize that serious scientific study is barely a century old, not altogether that long and I would think there is much to find out before we state our present theories as fact. In any event, what happenened millions of years ago is only of interest to those present-day Neanderthals who think it matters today.

So what you are saying is, Hahahahahahaha, you are all n i g g e r s like me? Aint no hahahahaha to it. You should be proud of your ethnicity. You are slamming your own race. I am proud of my African heritage but I am not African as I was not born there and I am a mix so I do not look Black. I hear you saying that you are ashamed of your African American lineage and feel you need to drag everyone here down to your low level of self esteem so you don't feel alone. You are insulting your own race. I am not saying you are wrong about where we all came from but based on your question, you probably are. The HaHaHaHaHa is so totally juvenile and tasteless. I am proud to be Mulatto and that includes Cherokee Indian, White and Black. I don't care where I came from because I am loving, pretty, smart and witty. Those are traits you obviously lack or else you wouldn't say the HaHaHaHaHaHa crap. Hahahahahahaha on you, because American Indians as well as African Americans as well as any other race are all beautiful and you obviously don't feel that you measure up. Why are you trying to pull the quality of yours and any other race down with your stupid remarks? I am a human being with respect for others, no matter where you or me came from or what race we are. Yes, I have African blood running through my veins but I am not considered African American. I was not born there. Get your terminology right and for goodness sake, learn some vocabulary from a genealogy book so that you don't end up getting your uneducated butt kicked for saying the wrong thing and insulting the wrong person in person. You can hide online from folks and say racist remarks, but you better watch out. You're not invisible to everybody. Hahahahahahahaha

Sorry I dont buy that theory. As a believe in God, I believe we all came from the Middle East. It isnt called the cradle of civilization for nothing.

The term "Native American" has always intrigued me. The were here first, that's all. We all originated from the same place though. Maybe I should demand that I be called "Caucasian American" or "European American"
