it is very difficult to tell which god is good, as 4 each religion their god is good and high, but i feel just close you eyes, and pray from within your heart.... and believe that you will get what you ask and you will....
the reason of clamaties is that peoples own sins, desire and jealousy that is the reason... god as to do nothing for that... search within your heart... in which thing or pray you get peace and follow it...For me sitting in front of the blessed sacrement in the church gives a amazing peace, may be for you something else....

As long as there are different people with different views and opinions, I don't think there will ever be a way of answering such a thing. Who could? No one has ever had the experience to "see God" and come back to share it. Me myself, I think there must be something bigger than ourselves just by the facts of how complicated and intricate the fundamentals of life are. It almost seems foolish to think that we would be so arrogant as to believe that we were the only and the best. So as far as God goes, it seems there almost has to be a 'higher power' and considering all that that power, God... is capable of, has got to understand our hesitation in blind belief. As far as calamities/crimes, that's on us - free will. I guess some people just don't think that one day all that they have done is going to be judged. Now I was raised Catholic, went through a time where I believed nothing because organized religion was force fed to me, and now have bneen through so very many crazy things in my life that I am pretty certain there almost has to be a God, without question. But, hey, that's just how I feel and it helps me deal. But I think if you look at things that you have been through you may feel the same. Course the crap is always gonna be there. It is our ability to get through the crap that means we have someone on our side!! Take care, hon. Happy Holidays! ;-)

Wow. What an amazingly kick-*** question. I really can't answer your question except by means of what i FEEL is the right answer, which is by no means positively the right answer. Anyway, I FEEL that if God really does exists, he is a forgiving God, and he will feel great that you worshiped him in some way or another. (even if you called him by a different name than most people)
And as your later question (I'm picking the ones I want to answer lol), I feel that God would have crimes and calamities on Earth as a tool to help you grow in a way.
What I mean is sometimes you can turn a negative action into such a positive action that the ending result is more positive than it would have been without the negative action. Hence crimes and calamities.

I'm a Christian but a Buddhist would convince you that the whole God thing is stupid. God is what I believe to be real. And there's a choice. We could simply believe in him and be saved if he is real or die and go to hell and regret. Yes there's a harm to God with other God's before him. Go get a Bible. Read Genesis. I mean come on man, arn't you convinced enough? There's churches, there's movies and believers and temples. Isn't that convincing enough?

I will say this hesitantly due to the fact that anything I say will sound, "fundamentalist" to many people.
There is one God, Jehovah. His Son is Jesus Christ.
How do I know this? I have been raised in a Christian church and I've been part of a Christian family my entire life. However, the decision was mine to make. I questioned, fought, and debated God and the issue of a virgin birth and resurrection.
But when it was all said and done, the only answer was the fact that there is a loving and benevolent God who cared so much for his creation that He even sent His Son to be punished for our sins.
Who else would do that?
I accept that salvation. I accept that challenge.
I'm not trying to convert anyone. That's not my job nor is it the responsibility of any Christian. I would ask, however that you research it before you get involved in religion. There are some out there who are dangerous and others whose morality could be questioned.

God is undescriable. You can only feel Him, He is present inside your heart. We can realise his presence. Suppose you are doing something wrong, something which should not be done, your innervoice will try to stop you. This inner voice is nothing but your God. Everybody name Him differently, but He remains the same. Like we are called by many different names, by our friends, parents, teachers, nut we remain same. Similary there exist only one God, only the names are different.
There exist only one God, thats in our heart. So there is no question of worshipping different God because with whatever name you worship He will remain same.
We have calamities because its a part of our life. God wants us to be stong, He wants his sons to see life. Life is not a bed of roses. moreover everybody has to die oneday. Only the way they die is different. Crimes are commited by humans only. God has no role to play in it. When we commit any crime our God tries to stop us in the form of our innervoice, its we who have to decide whether to follow this voice or not.
All religions are equal. All speak the truth and all are true. Its we who interpret them wrongly. All religions are but different ways to reach God.

I don't think there is a real god - I think the concept of god defies the description of real. I think every religion caters to certain people, depending on their circumstances, upbringing or experience. One religion alone cannot work for everyone. So to answer the question of which is the real true religion: that depends on what you want out of it. Worship is a personal choice, who you worship is your choice not anyone else's.

i have looked and i cant find anyone that's is 16.9 billion years old,as old as the earth is supposed to be,so leaves me with one burning question, and that is what is truth and what is false,we all know what man is capable of,how high he can aspire and how low is can descend, and he doesn't need a god to do this, he does it himself, but as man as always looked for something to shift his responsibilities on to something to blame for man short comings,oh you will have the religious nuts telling you all sorts of things,so you have to believe what you need to help you make it thru this life,we all do this in very many different ways, there no true religion, because all religion is man made, there is creator,of this universe, but you have to find it and understand it,and we have been at it for 16.9 billion years,so what is really true cos someone said something that makes it truth/i have myself looked a 6 different religions and have never found the answer to any,so for me it was back to basics, what i experience is what i can debate upon, and what i don't experience, i cannot, and if there is a god then I'm sure it would want me to find out the truth, after all what is the point of being born, but i wont find god in man-made temples, and things wrote in books, and men that speak fine words.

There is but one God. people call God by many names, and also call different aspects of God by various names, It makes no difference so long as you know you are praying to the one God through that aspect. example if you wanted to have wealth, pray to Lakshmi the goddess of wealth, for love, pray to Krishna or eros, for wisdom pray to Buddha. The best source is to pray to the real God within your own Heart. "God dwells within you as you." you have unity with God in unconditional love within your own heart. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to all things are contained within Gods unconditional love.
