offered me a free copy, I was eager to see what all the hoop-la was about. Frankly, it got tedious quickly and I turned it off. So, my question is what makes it worth my investing 2 and a half hours in this-just what did you or did you not like about it? And ya know, how about a quick synopsis cause it just isn't doing it for me.

The film was awful. It was overlong, and nothing picked up until the first hour was over. Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou were wasted in a very formulaic, cliched and tedious script.

The only thing I enjoyed about it was Ian McKellen's performance.

Quick synopsis? Guy goes running across France looking for the holy grail or something. You breathe a sigh of relief that it's ended and then you realize it's still going on. Cue emotional music. Eventually it ends.

Sorry, I can't give you a synopsis because I didn't see it either. Truth is, it didn't call to me. And I listen to my gut now-I've learned, as I had the same issue with Million Dollar Baby. I was totally not drawn to seeing it, but forced myself to do so because it got so much attention, had actors I like in it (Morgan Freeman is one of my favorites) and even won the Award for Best Picture. But it was a chore to sit through and I didn't like it at all! The script sucked and was so maudlin and predictable. So, never again. If a movie doesn't pull me in, I am not going to give it my time or attention. So, I say, spend your two and a half hours on something else!

you know what, i didnt read the book but i actually watched the movie 2days ago, i must say that i liked it and it kept me very interesting, but i strongly disagree with the view point of the da vinci code, because Jesus Chris is the son of God and i just dont see how Jesus could have had a girlfriend, maybe just as a friend but nothing more, sooooo the movie was good, i liked it, but i disagree

You'd be better off reading the book, it's way better than the movie. The movie tried to be too much like the book and lost it's way. Read Dan Brown's 3 other novels as well...all good.
