Personally I think it's shite and so does Darren Hayes.

when i first heard, i recognised the track and as soon as i heard that female vocalist sing that first line, i thought omg. i cringed. it was total shite. it was one of the worst cover versions i've heard for some time, alongside girl's aloud's murdering tiffiny's i think we're along now. then again, truly madly deeply was and still is one of the all-time love songs of the 21 century that could never be covered and must never be covered by anyone else. unfortunately for us, cascada did so, and by god, it was bloody awful. you're not the only one who hates this version

I prefer the original - even though I like Cascada ("Every time we touch" was good), it's not her own song, & Truly Madly Deeply was a song which needed a slow, sensitive beat, not a fast disco beat.

The original was way better, its one of those songs that should never be covered unless you can do it as well or better than the original. I'm not surprised that Darren Hayes doesn't like it

It's alright but not as good as the original. Unfortunately my fella has a thing for her so he loves it and he's always switching the music channels to see if he can see her! Pathetic! In that respect its wishful thinking on his behalf!! Ahhh he can live and dream
