why do 40 something married men have affairs with young girls?

only to tell them later 'it was a mistake... you are too young... you deserve someone better... you should be with someone your age'
why do they do it in the first place then if they feel so?

one of my workmates recently got into something like this, now shes heartbroken, and i dont understand this behavior in typical 40 something married men with children and all ? why do they do this if they are happily married?

thankfully, i am not writing from personal experience! :-)

What 40 yr old man doesn't want a fresh sweet young tight body all his own for a while to seduce. Soft skin, tender lips a body warm with desire for him. He would be out of his mind not to want this sweet young thing.

It is just the intellectually there is a problem in most cases. And you have to come out of the bedroom sometime.

You are not the "We" She is asking about men who DO. Not you who wants a older woman, maybe because you need lessons, Chianti Man?

Because they think they are still in high school thats why. People are remaining more immature for longer periods into their adulthood than ever before. I think its that Rock and Roll music that really did it. Now peoples mindsets often remain sort of teenagerish, so the men are still stuck in high school or college, and therefore want to party with girls who are youthful.

I read a study that said that mens evolutionary brains tell them all the women around them are available and part of their dating pool, regardless of what the higher brain has been told to conform to by society, so their minds are being tricked, so all these images of young beautiful women on TV, etc. (who are mostly younger women) are leading the more primitive part of the brain to believe this is their dating pool, even though their higher cerebral functions tell them it is not really appropriate.

Why do young girls have affairs with 40 something married men ? Did you imagine he would leave his wife (and children?) for you ? Did you think about how they would feel ? If you feel bad now, imagine how his wife would have felt if your dream of taking him away from them had come true ? And what about his kids ? Why did he do it ? Because you wanted him to.

I am writing from personal experience and its not just 40 year olds that do it, its most men they think they need something outside of there happy lives then realise after they do it they didn't need to do it they were happy with what they had to begin with. If your friend knew he was married with children then its her own fault she should have told him to go home to his family. I found out 2 months ago My partner of 6 years and the father of my (at the time) 5 month old baby girl was seeing someone and she knew about us, i left him he stayed with her for 6 weeks then realised he wanted me back so the heartache i felt she is now feeling and same with your friend What goes around comes around.

They are going through their own (change of life ) they want to know if they still have "IT" so they look for a younger woman who is looking for a father figure or is flattered by the attention that this older handsome settled male is giving them and they have that home wrecking affair ..
most young women are hurt by this VERY few ever win the guys heart as they have to much invested in their marriage ...to throw it away

I think they just don't want to feel that they're getting old, and it flatters their ego if they know they can still pull a young girl. Maybe they get bored at home with their wife, who possibly doesn't look as good as she did when they got married years ago. Also it's an escape from the old routine.

Because men will always behave as men and girls as girls! Girls should learn faster, though, that men are only interested in one thing: what lies between girls legs!! Once they get it, they move on to another victim. How can a young girl be stupid enough to get involved in sexual relationship with a married man of 40 yrs old!! She is either stupid, or greedy for money. I sympathise with the former and have no sympathy with the latter. As for the man, I do not expect anything good from the devil!

Young women imagine older people to be as steady as their parents. He loves me I love him and off we go hand in hand into the future.
Older men are 16 years old for all of their lives, so dont imagine them to be anything but sexually interested in a woman of any age, Young women are easy to manipulate.
Ok so she got it wrong. Use it as a learning experience. Get back to life and live it. Just remember the older ones want a fling if that whats wnated go for the oler group.

for some men it is an attempt to recapture there youth. There is no excuse for this kind of conduct but that won't stop it happening this is also true of women who go for younger men. Alas this seems to be a part of human nature a temptation from you know who , the father of lies and because of man's weakness in this area the inevitable happens . I believe it will take the return of Jesus Christ to stop such things happening.sad but true .

Because there only after one thing, and fancy abit of young on the side!
I always thought older men ( not married ) were better to date, big mistake as i went through a stage of see-in older guys!
From now on, im going to stick to my own age group!
