Where can I find the complete works of William Shakespeare . . .

. . . in one portable volume? By portable I mean the condensed onion-skin style pages (two column), unabridged, also soft-cover. Think bible. Leather-bound would be cool but isn't important. Something that I could carry around in a messenger type bag with maybe another book, paper/pens, etc. Something less bulky and heavy than the encyclopedia size books. Any help is appreciated. :)

May I recommend the Collins complete works using the Alexander text at around 8" x 5". (see link 1)

A little bigger at 11.5" x 9" is the Collector's Library edition, but it is cloth-bound and is in triple column setting (see link 2)

Well, paperback may be your best bet if you want to stay portable but you can't really escape the size of the volumes. That was the whole point of Shakespeare. He didn't have images to share his ideas he had words and he used them. Bevington is the best in my opinion if you get a complete works because it contains very clear and concise definitions of Shakespeare's words.

If you want to stay light I would suggest the Arden series. They sell individual plays that are very portable, and you can get the complete set, so that way you can take one of the 26 plays with you wherever you may be going.

Unless, they rereleased it, all I know of is a hardback copy. best bet is to try a local book store. If they don't have it, they can order it.
