Marrying your first cousin was actually common for hundred of years. A lot of families would arrange a marriage between first cousins!!!
Now its considered bad but I still think its fine cause it was fine long ago... people didn't see it as wrong and thought it was a proper thing to do.
I think if they want to marry, and thier friends/family is fine with it then let them.... Ive had a history of first cousins married in my family too but none since the early 1900s.

20/20 had a definite in this countless yrs in the past. My cousin referred to as me while the prepare began and reported, "Cuz, you have have been given to verify this software." We stayed on the telephone at the same time and watched the phase. in accordance to twenty/20, analyze has shown that married cousins have a somewhat decrease incident value of giving delivery to babies with actual or psychological problems than non appropriate mom and dad had. So there's no genetic reason of cousins to no longer marry. this is unlawful in some states. So examine it out. My cousin & I have been so very lots in love. If we had in many situations going on 50 yrs in the past what all of us know now, we'd be celebrating our fiftieth wedding ceremony anniversary quickly. Our families could have not authorized in any respect. yet because it grew to become out, our families did no longer approve of the non appropriate spouses that we did decide for. good

Well.... my parent were first cousins and lets take a look at the results of their (cough cough) extracurricular activities
They produced three children : Me, a 19 yr old male currently, my sis who's a couple yrs older and my little bro who's 12 or 11 doesnot matter cuz i hate that little bastard.
anywayz all of us have some serious birth defects. Lets look at sum of them, shall we?
Me: skinny as hell, i weigh no more than 110 lbs. Also, i think i am probably the ugliest guy on the planet ( i have several million witnesses to prove it lol). The upside with me is that I am the ONLY smart child in my family.
My sis : skinny and ugly just like me; to make matters further she is the dumbest girl alive. She had a 250 on her SAT verbal and even though she's n college she cannot do BASIC stuff, like using a pc and readin basic ****.
My bro: Dumber than my sister (try to imagine that if u will). he is in 7th grade and cant divide. He is also albino.
In conclusion, marrying cousins can produce some horrific results in children so when u marry them, hump away at ur own risks.

This used to warrant the death penalty in the old Cherokee days, before the Spanish came. Members of the same extended family simply should not marry. If the problems it caused warranted death , then there's an obvious reason why it's wrong. The potential problems (they don't always happen, but they're more likely) can be devastating---who would want to condemn an innocent child to a life of sleeping under blue spectrum lights so the bilirubin they can't break down doesn't kill them? Or weighing the food they eat so you don't go over the amount of leucine in a chicken leg for one day and kill your child because they can't process it? These kids have NO choice and should not be blamed--but the parents most assuredly should.
There's a doctor, Dr. Holmes Morton, who's helping a community that's dealing with the problems consanguinous marriage brought with it. Too many recessive genes showing up has done so much harm to the poor kids he helps.

Recently I read an article about the changes taking place as regards Incest. With the push to treat homosexuality equal to hetero, and the development of better forms of birth control, there are ones pushing to abolish the incest laws. In the story I read, a man found his fiance having sex with her father, and not a stepfather. She was the one who initiated it. She had not had contact with him while growing up, as her mother denied her access. She was 27 when she seduced him. To say the least, her fiance was a little upset.
With the dropping birthrate of male children, it is predicted that relations between cousins, siblings, and even adult children and a parent may become normal in another hundred years. Especially as we learn more about DNA and how to fix any potential problems, or to prevent pregnancy in the first place. Certainly, with over 50% of children born out of wedlock, and not knowing who their father or possible siblings are, its going to happen, anyway.

Not the smartest move on the family tree. Some cultures accept it but for this culture it is taboo. Some say that after the 2nd cousin in bloodline then there is no problem but I don't see where there is any difference between 1st,2nd or 3 rd cousins. After that it is a gray area.
Bottom line no.

I'm already married myself. And never felt like that about my first cousin. So as it doesn't affect me and is none of my business, who anybody else decides to marry I have no opinion on it.

The idea of first cousins getting married is out of the question, its straight up wrong! Its deemed as incest, this is because their parents are directly related either as brothers or sisters or brother to sister and vice-versa.
If for instance they got married and had kids, their genes would be weakend because they suffer from the same constraint. meaning that their kids will be genetically weaker.

I think is okay for experimentation just to kiss and fvck around but not to get married. It doesn't look right and if you have a family like mine you will probably will be miserable for the rest of your life if you married one of your cousins. LOL!!!

The idea of even seeing any of my first cousins when they are naked is enough to make me run and hurl, so I think marrying any of them would be out of the question!
