I know she died on Christmas Day by Arthur's bench because I watched both episodes, but how could she just suddenly die? Is it because she got knocked over by Sonia?

brain haemorrhage, sadly. I would have preferred that the miserable, meddling old bat got beaten with her fruit bowl, before being flung from the roof of the Queen Vic and landing in Martin's fruit stawl before being fatally suffocated by a hundredweight of brussel sprouts. Would have made better TV.

Sonia and Pauline were arguing ... unfortunatly her beloved fruit bowl got smashed .....
Sonia slapped Pauline (yay)
Pauline was walking to the Queen Vic .... and did her best piece of acting ever and fell to the floor after suffering a brain haemorrage.

She fell after Sonia hit her and she got a brain clot or similar. She collapsed suddenly when it took effect.

The BBC are saying that the death looks far simpler than it actually is meaning they're going to have a long drawn out storyline about this!

Sonia hitting her weakened her blood vessels and caused a brain hemmorage (no idea how to spell that sorry!!). That's why she was staggering around holding her head!! Way to go tho - poor Sonia will carry the guilt forever especially as Rebecca witnessed it!!

The sight of sonia in that red woolen dress made her eyes so sore that she went blind, bumped into Betty and before she knew it she was snorting snow!!

Wasn't it rubbish, the only reason they got so many ratings was cos it ran late and everyone turned on to watch Vicar of Dibley. That death was SOOOOO overrated.

Who cares? In a couple of years she'll step out of the shower and it will all have been a dream.
