I want to print a picture off a video tape.

Unless you have an intergrated TV card in your laptop it is going to prove nigh on impossible. You can get USB TV adapters which would then capture from a video tape but this is expensive for just one picture.

Another option would be to copy the tape to a DVD if you or someone you know has a DVD recorder under the TV or take the tape to someone who does have a TV capture card.

However you do it the quality is going to be iffy as images taken from tape are not good resolution.

Basicly usb cord if the video camera has a plug which 99% of them do install the driver that the video camera is or look it up and get the driver for free plug the cord into the video camera and then plug the side into ur usb it should be usb thats about the best advice i got for that one and Tv capture cards are dirt cheap and you dont need a tv capture card for no of this lol

get a cable (usb) or memory card. if using the cable, your computer will automatically show you and ask you if you want to copy the archives stored into your camera. if memory stick, it´s just like a usb memory thingy.
