Yatta! Yay for being girlie ^_^! It depends if you want to wear it outside or not. If you do, wear it and don't apologize. Fashion is only a "flop" when the wearer makes excuses. Wear what you like, and if people don't like it, too bad--- they're not the ones wearing it. It's your body, and you have the right to do with it whatever you want. If people laugh or make remarks, keep comebacks handy. As long as people see they can't bully you down, you can be as you are. Besides, it's your life. You have every right to live it as long as you aren't hurting anyone!

If you are afraid of ridicule, then be careful to pass in public. Look at every masculine tell you have and minimize it. Look for every feminine tell you have an accentuate it. Wear skirts, not pants. Wear makeup. Shave your legs and wax or shave your chest/arm if needed. If you're hair is short, invest in a wig. Carry a purse. Stay away from kids (they are more observant then adults and lack the social understanding not to call you on it.) And even if somebody does read you, know it's not the end of the world. There are people out there who will accept you and love you for yourself. I like pretty dresses, if I knew a man who liked pretty dresses to, would that not mean we have a lot in common? Good luck.

I had a long and satisfactory relationship with a very good lover (in all senses) who liked a spot of cross-dressing from time to time. When he first suggested it I was perturbed but couldn't see the harm in it, so I went along ... and am I glad I did! I learned so much - for example

- men are so confined in what they can wear, whereas women can wear bright colours, lovely textures, etc., and generally express their mood through their clothes; all the average man can do is wear a sprauncy tie.

- for most men, even those in relationships, life contains rather too much 'not now dear I'm rather tired,' and what a relief it must be to know oneself to be the object of desire.

- boy, was it fun swapping roles and seducing him ..

Look, as long as it doesn't become an obsession (i.e. you can only get excited when dressed as a woman) I think it's a perfectly healthy part of good sexual play. So enjoy yourself!

if passing as awoman is not an option for you then id say do it in private or at leastdo it in groups with other cds if you can pass then you havent much to worry about.do what you want and dont let what others think bother you. i am a crossdresser and i was afraid at one time what people would think. now i dont care they are going to think and say what they please it doesn't bother me i know who i am and i am proud of who i am. i dress for me and no one else i go out in public and if i get made then oh well. just use common sense and dont go anywhere that could comprimise your saftey and well being. go out with someone if possible. and last find a support organization on line in your area and get out and meet other girls like yourself.

If it were me I'd wear the clothes and just say to hell with everyone else. However looking at it objectively all I can say is either get over your fear or get over your need to dress feminine, I'd recommend the first but I know it's not easy facing others. I guess it all depends on how much you want to wear them. Is it worth the ridicule?

Wear pink in male clothing. Like a pink polo shirt. Girls and boys both wear pink nowadays. Wear unisex clothing you wont get ridiculed.

kept it in the closet, be careful who you tell............i did a stint as a drag queen movie reviewer @ a local alternative radio station, i noticed the day after the show(in drag), i'd feel more masculine..........& i had fun in drag...........sometimes we need to get in touch with our "girly" side..........i'm gay & i think it's natural to go crazy, (i wear eyeliner out) some straight guys say that they feel closer to women wearing their clothes, i have Transgendered friends also.......depending on where you are, you may find support in the GLBT community
