I just want to know the latest time that a learner driver can drive with the mentor beside me.

A learner can drive up until midnight.


After that you need a note from your workplace or a person of-age beside you.

There is no time restriction in the UK.

You must always have a licensed driver aged 21 or older with a full driving license that they have held for at least one year in the seat next to you. That person is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle. There are no time restrictions for a person with a full driving license, therefore there are no restrictions on when you may operate either.

Those were the rules when last I lived in the UK. Check the DVLA website for any changes.

The use of the term "L" driver suggests UK and there's no limit at least in most parts there, but if you're under some other jurisdiction the answer may be very different.
