The crisis in the Middle East will never go away.

The conflict in Iraq will wind down and we'll finally be allowed to leave the Iraqi people to govern themselves.

The Iraqi Gov't must be able to function normally without fear of reprisals from any internal or external group. The Iraqi Police has lost 12,000 police officers in just the last 18 months to terrorists. The Iraqi Army has lost probably a similar amount. The American Military in attempting to support them has lost 3,000 military members.

What is needed is for the terrorists to finally be seen in public opinion as the murderers they are. Several prominent Arabic nations have already begun sweeping campaigns to arrest and silence these Islamic extremists in their own nations.

Once the Gov't can stand somewhat on its own, and the security agencies of the Iraqi people is functioning we will leave.

For that to happen, we must eliminate the terrorists completely or
at least their ability to continue killing innocents people here in Iraq.

Iran and Syria specifically must close its borders and stop sending military and financial aid to the terrorists here in Iraq.

Iraq has to seal its borders tight so no more foreign national Muslim extremists can enter. for that to happen, Iraq must band together and stop being concerned about which passage of the Qu'ran is more important or what color bedroom slippers the Prophet had on Eid in 1000 C.E.

The lingering Crisis in the Mid East will end only when all Jews in Israel are dead.
That is the goal of many Muslims.
The Palestinians had a chance for peace & their own country.
THEY VOTED IT DOWN.
Democrats surrendering to Ahmadinejad and to Syria just makes matters worse.

I can tell you how but not exactly when. I feel it will be within the next couple of decades that total destruction and a replay of Hiroshima/Nagasaki will take place in the war called WWIII. An Asian country in close proximity to the Middle East will drop a devastating bomb (biological) that will wipe out the smaller countries in the Middle East. It won't be the Americans dropping it.

Justanotherengine seems to have some mental issues. I agree, the Mideast conflict is never ending.

I think peace can be seen if the Israeli leaders show some comprimise toward the Palestinians who originally lived in Israeli territories. That's not the only issue, Isreal should give the Arabs opportunities such that everyone can live in peace. They shouldn't focus on how many Jews or how many Muslims there are. Its important that everyone gets the opportunity to continously improve thier lives.

The Palestinians are unfairly paying the price for what the Jews of Europe went through in Europe. What has happened has happened, what is important is peace, regardless of whether there is a seperate Arab state of Arabs integrate into Israeli society with full national and citizenship rights.

The war in Iraq can only be described as sheer greed and stupidity. That's all there is to say.
