We can't, the most we can do is make the starting opportunities equal. Think of it like a race, the only thing we can do is make sure everybody starts out at the same line (opportunity) but once the race starts, naturally it will spread out people according to their fitness level.

You can't. Do you mean give everyone equal opportunity? Much different. Or do you mean that everyone should be able to run at the same speed, play tennis equally, be good at math - equally, etc.
Human beings have different skill levels, intelligence, drive, ambition, and a whole list of other things that cannot be made "equal". Thats why some people are good at basketball and others astrophysics.
You can't make people equal.

Unfortunately, that will never happen. I am a very independant woman, I like to do things my way, on my own, although I am married, and one thing I have learned is that men and women will never be equal. Just like unfortunately, different races will never be equal because there is too much hatred in the world and parents are breeding the hatred into the children's mind. Granted, blacks have come a long way and so have women, however, small minded people will never see that we are all alike yet we are all different in terms of we all look different and all think differently. Society, in itself, will always carry some form of hatred. I'm 25 years old, and I learned that even in my generation, there is alot of hatred, thus gangs and such and because of the hatred, there will never be full equality.

People may be born with equal potential, and every life needs to be valued equally. Every person deserves to be respected unless he/she does something that would cause him/her not to deserve that respect.

Other than in those ways, though, people cannot be equal; and unless you want a world full of robots or clones they shouldn't be. Everyone is unique and has his/her own set of traits and attributes and ambitions and abilities.

If you truly value people for who they are "on the inside" you will realize that in some ways all people are already equal. If your wish is to make sure all people are of equal financial status that goal goes against the individuality of human (and all) nature.

The question should be: "How can we help every individual reach his/her full potential?"

illness and death is the great equalizer. all people are equally suseptable to things like ebola, aids, lung cancer and others. the treaments for those prior to death are the only real differences but the end result is the same for all persons in all classes. When we start thinking in terms of simple things like life, we are all equal but opportunity will never be equal. There will always be those who want more than the status-quo. there will always be those with more of something than others which makes it desireable, whether it be rare metals (gold, silver) or food (caviar, exotic foods) or health (pills, medication, treatments) the only true equalizer that all people share is that they will all some-day die. Unfortunately, when and how are still not equal.

I am guessing it would be somewhere between comunism and anarchy. Everything belongs to the State, and all people share in it's riches. But no-one would be in a position of power to manage the equal distribution of said riches.

Which explains why both communism and anarchy are not good methods of running a society.

the concept of equal and fair share is lived in a limited world. The truth is there's much abundance for everyone.
Tap into the opportunity well through education and prepare yourself for the amazing gifts the universe brings you...

Well first off parents need to stop teaching they're children that boys are superior over girls, or girls are superior over boys. It'd be nice if society in general would cut that crap out as well. then we could move on to fixing the race problem and other forms of discrimination. But I think people are too hard-headed for that.

Femininst minded people will continue to believe that girls are more mature than guys, and the Traditionalists will continue to believe that girls are only good for cooking and cleaning. Hard-headed beliefs are like a virus, people catch it and allow their minds to be washed and reformated.

We can't.

Socialist government has tried that for ages and it never works.

People gripe and complain because of the wars we have fought.

But, would you rather be under Soviets, Japans, China's or places like North Korea's rule of government or live in the United States of America while we still have some freedom left.
