Because there was no other alternative he might not have been the best person to be president ,but he was the best man at this point in time for the job. As for our french friend I guess Muslims youths rioting in the streets is not a problem. France is in deep s**t the french are not having children the Muslims are are having children at a 4 to 1 ratio if nothing changes France is no longer French in 20 years which leads me to ponder is that a good or a bad thing.

I'm in California, which voted against Bush in November 2000 & 2004. Mr. Bush doesn't spend the gas to fly to California unless he's visiting troops on a military base. Mr. Bush couldn't get elected dog catcher in California. Enough said.

What makes you think people didn't understand? People understood perfectly. The understanding was that a vote for John Kerry was a vote against the security of the nation. What person in their right mind when running for President while the country is at war states that they have a plan, but cannot tell you what it is unless you elect them? You can believe as you choose, but the honest truth is that people understood what they were getting with Mr. Bush. It was the alternative that they didn't understand and thus would not vote for.

The United States Supreme Court Appointed George W. Bush for a second term as President of the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth. The American Voters did not. Eight years of a bumbling idiot is only eight years. A lifetime of a brutal dictator is a lifetime under a brutal dictator. A lifetime that is often less than eight years. Not for the Dictator, but for their subjects. Democracy works for those who believe in it because those who believe in it work to make sure their Democracy works. Four years from today, I will sit in my comfortably heated home and rest assured that I either VOTED for or against the sitting President of the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth,...still I might have again not voted for My sitting President... But I have the right to, and I exercised My right to vote for the candidate of my choice.

With the given choices we had at the time, he was the best choice. You knew what you got, like it or not. John Kerry would say anything to get elected, even if he did not believe it. Look at what he has said about the military since that election. George Bush stands for what he stands for, it is a shame the way the Liberals in this country has done everything in their power to blame him for everything that is wrong, regardless if he had anything to do with it. History will be kinder to this president than the present.

Let's see we had a choice between Bush and Kerry. I'd vote for a fence post before I'd vote for Kerry.

Because there has not been another terrorist attack on our soil while he has been president. Because he does what he really believes in despite what the "polls" tell him he SHOULD believe. The alternative was Kerry. Are you going to tell me that you honestly believe that he would have done a better job? He would say ANYTHING, depending on the audience he was speaking to. The hate that people have been spewing about our president is unbelievable to me. Especially after 9/11. Seems to me that maybe it is YOU who doesn't understand.

well i sure did not vote for him in this latest election. The lies and deceptions were enough. and why is the world do people keep saying that liberals are pro-terrorism. that is the stupidest thing anybody can ever say. terrorism wasnt even a word on person's minds until Mr. Bush declared his war on terrorism. this is nothing more than propaganda. just like the war on drugs, this is a war that wins votes, not battles. it is impossible to eliminate all these "terrorists" in the world. and yes, we havent had any more terror attacks on our mainland since 9-11, but you republicans act like we were having attacks every week until bush got in. and lets not forget all the bombs and attacks on our troops overseas. those are all terror attacks. please dont forget about our soldiers who are dieing needlessly thousands of miles away from home.

It wasn't just because of Iraq. It was because he was a conservative politician. Many Americans are conservative, thats why he got votes and won. The elections was a very close shave though.
