A player called Rachel played on the UK afternoon show. She had some really naff early offers - 12p, £12 and £120, and not surprisngly decided to deal at the first halfway decent offer of £2,400. A second part of the deal allowed her to choose any two of three boxes under the tree - two described as good, and one as a booby prize (a pair of underpants). In the event, she chose the two 'good' boxes and won an extra £1000 and a trip to Paris. It was not the best deal though, as she turned out to have £50,000 in her box.
The prime-time evening player was chosen in a different way from usual as the prize was upped to £500,000. The fellow contestants chose "Wrighty" to play, and he dealt also at round four for £32,000, but in this case this was the right decision as this was the most that was ever on offer, and he only ever had £3,000 in his box.

none, one guy had a chance to win 500,000 dollars, but settled for like 160,000 dollars.
