I think if you are happy with yourself you will be happy!
learning to like yourself & not calling yourself mean names will help
giving yourself a pat on the back for all the good things you have done whether it was a kind word to someone or helped them out or done your homework or house work
study
work
any thing along those lines all deserve a pat
& when you call yourself an idiot etc always correct it & say to yourself I'm not always an idiot 99% of the time i make good choices
all that will help a person to get happy
& acting happy helps also & thinking of happy things
like things that make you go haha hehe
& not thinking of sad things

I'm happy, but it was that great philosopher , Charlie Brown who said that "happiness is nothing to dread and 3 things to look forward to." And it's also a warm puppy. The key to true happiness is attitude. No on can make you happy, you have to choose to be happy.

As much as many will hate me saying this.. a relationship with God will get you true happiness.
It's funny how things go into place when a person just breaks down and accepts God into their lives. There is that feeling like.. "ok, now i'm not alone anymore," and such a great weight is lifted off the persons shoulders :).

If you aren't Christian, please don't buy into either of the $h!t the Atheists (including evolutionists etc) and what the extremist christians are saying.. they don't make the relationship, the person who wants God in their life and God are the makers of the relationship...no one else.

Happiness and sadness are the two sides of the same coin called Maya. A person who attains the state of equanimity also attains a state of bliss with in himself and that is the true happiness. In this state the changes around him do not affect him in any way.The Yogis of yore did attain that state and were happy.

Self satisfaction - being satisfied with what you have and having no fear of losing it.
Rich people are in my opinion, the least happiest whereas poor people are the happiest at heart. But we can't deny the fact that poor people also have their own worries.
I am happy when I work hard.

I have felt happy numberous times. Most frequently when I am surrended by nature- I feel extremly happy. The cherping of birds, the feel of soft breez, waves, sight of lovely mountains have given me my happiest moments.
Happiness is a state of mind when you feel good. It has nothing to do with money, and only little to do with achievements.

Yes.

I am very happy RIGHT NOW.

The key to happiness is to see YOURSELF in other people.

So few of us actually do this because we are so busy labeling people.

When you see bits of yourself in other people, you show compassion and the depth of the human condition.

That is when people tend to work WITH YOU instead of against YOU.
