obviously I m not talking about majority in kuwait, neither talking about kuwait government.

I wouldn't be sorry for liberating anyone. I wish people wouldn't be gung-ho about the U.S. pulling out of Iraq. They need stability, many Iraqis yearn for us to stay and cried because they think the Democrats are going for the President's hand into pulling out. :-(

When people are free, they make choices. The make bad ones along with the good. Like I said, they need stability to nurture their infant goverment(s).

There's good happening, too - it's just overwhelmed by the bad because bad news is what the major television and newspaper media show 95% of the time.

No. I am not American nor a westerner. But I think America's actions against Saddam were the right thing to do. Its the US military hegmony and the Israeli Palestinian conflict that really bothered people.

By the way, if the US was so concerned about the poor defenceless people of Kuwait, why didn't they help out the Palestinians? Do the Iraqi people deserve what they are currently going through? Who destroyed the once great and prosperous nation of Iraq? Saddam? Please...

Hope life is good for you Kuwaiti folks.

No I do not regret our actions to liberate Kuwait. Each situation must be judged on it's own merits. Saddam Hussein would have oppressed the people of Kuwait in the same way he oppressed his own people. No matter what people may think of the current conflict in Iraq I doubt many would hold the opinion that liberating Kuwait was wrong. Your opinion that Hussein did not attack America is incorrect though. Saddam fired repeatedly on American aircraft enforcing the southern no fly zone in the years following the end of the first gulf conflict. These attacks were against American assets and by extension an attack on America.

No, allowing Iraqi forces to remain and control Kuwait would have been a major error. First, it would have clearly demonstrated that aggression would be rewarded and tolerated. Similiar to Nazi Germany's aggression immediately prior to WWII. There is no guarantee that Saddam's ambitions would have stopped with Kuwait. Look at his almost continuous war with Iran. With the oil revenues from Kuwait, his military funding would have grown significantly.
The difficulty with the 1991 war was the job wasn't finished when Bush ended the hostilities.

Your name is Ex-Muslim? Sure, you are. I am a American, not ex American. I am behind America now, then and forever. Saddam is a evil dictator, or should I say was lol. Good for George, he did something that Clinton did not have balls enough to do, but then again, Clinton had cigars on his mind more than protection of Americans. Clinton did have a lot of time on his hands, since Hillary was the one really running the Presidental office.

How do you not know this? It wasn't that long ago! B. The unfinished job was a subtext for the W. Bush War in Iraq.

No helping and freeing people is never something to be sorry for. We cannot help what happens and what choices they make after. If I loan you ten dollars and you do not repay, who is the better person?
