There are several objects that have, over the course of time been pointed to as being the spear of Longinus. However, no proof ahs ever been given either religious or scientific that any of them even could be that particular let alone actually being it. As far as anyone knows for certain, that spear is long LONG gone. the most famous of the objects, the one that was in Hitlers possession, was neither old enough, nor of the right design to have been an ancient roman spear, Hitler himself was known to give such infromation as he though would inspire the people who followed him to greater deeds. As i recall he claimed that the spear had belonged to some Germanic heroic figure or anothern (Parsival I think). It was definately his obsession that caused him such grear trouble more so that any object in his possession.

it is said that the spear of destiny was last in Hitlers possession after that it disappeared entirely from the world no one knows where it is at this time weather it was lost or if Hitler hid it or if the pope has it locked away like so many other things they deem unworthy for others to see. sooo that is why it is ignored. who knows it is bound to show up sooner or later. things like the spear of destiny always have a way of popping up in the most random times. who knows maybe a soldier picked it up not knowing what it was during world war two after they ended the war and its sitting on someones fireplace mantle as a souvenir collecting dust. but don't worry it will come back it always does if you really look at its history it gets lost allot only to show up later on in life in the hands of some new great conqueror. they say that the anti Christ will wield the spear of destiny soo who knows maybe that is when it will show up again

Didn't you ever see Raiders of the Lost Ark?
Pretty much every 'occult' object that Hitler gathered was either intercepted by the American OSS or re-gathered from the Nazi-s just as the war was ending.
It's all in a special secret warehouse, away from influencing or begin fought over by mankind.

Oh....I was thinking of a different Longinus....the guy who was a blacksmith in the 15th century who was adored by many woman. His real name was Herbie, but he took the name "Longinus" to give women a hint of the "spear" that he had (if ya catch my drift!).
