Yes, wearing an ascot is an inherently gay act - if you wear one, people will think that you are a homosexual (in fact, even WANTING to wear an ascot is gay!)

I wouldn't wear one. I am gay but it's just not my style. I haven't seen those without the use of formal wear- Good Luck
