Depends.
Some hard drive manufacturers say:
1000000 bytes = 1 MB
and therefore 1000000000 B = 1 GB
But to be technically correct, the 1st guys answer is correct.
There are 1048576 B = 1 MB (1024^2)
and therefore 1073741824 B = 1 GB (1024^3)
