Because Kfry puts an addictive substance in their gravy, similar to Tim Horton's concept :P

I don't understand it either because I know that I have gotten sick from eating there once three years ago and then a couple of months ago I tried eating there and I got sick again. So I stay far away from KFC and It's a shame because I don't even eat a lot of fast food.

There are various reasons for getting sick after eating from certain locations. Did they get sick from the same restaurant? If so call the local health department and report it. Did they get sick after a night of drinking and just happen to stop at KFC on the way home?

what did the instances have in common?

'Cause no one's chomped down on a human finger tip, yet. Anyway, there's a legal process between your getting sick at KFC and KFC being shut down. Are you really up for that kind of fight? My advice? Get your fried chicken some place else. If you live in Texas, definitely get to San Antonio and buy your fried chicken at Bill Miller's. You'll never eat fried chicken from anyone else ever again. Bill Miller's makes the BEST fried chicken ANYWHERE.

KFC may change their oil to try and eliminate Trans-Fat, but it will never close.
Not only is KFC an American icon, similar to McDonalds, but it keeps all those chicken ranchers in business.
Anyway, I love it and have never gotten ill from any of it.
Perhaps everyone you know is going to a KFC that has an individual problem. Call the Feds.

Most likely they got sick from eating too much. I have never gotten sick from eating there. Their food is soo good. Go ahead and eat it. Seriously, if KFC made EVERYONE sick, it would definately be closed by now.

I never have.

I guess it may depend on the franchisee and how they operate.

Incidentally, where I live there are a number of places that combine KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.

That suggests the ownership may be the key. A good well-run eatery shouldn't get people sick.

I have never gotten sick from KFC. The one by my house always has a 100% health department rating.

1) Because they are not bastions of illness as you perceive, they are checked by the health department.
2) Most food borne illnesses occur 24-48 hours after ingestion of the pathogen. It is not the last food you ate that made you sick like people think.
3) They mainly stay open because people like the food, pay a reasonable price and DO NOT get sick.

Does it really matter. They are portarying the image of frilled chicken and the healthiness, taste/flavor of the product, not the grill marks. While it is noticable, it has no effect on food or commercial. You are very smart with regards to finding bloopers. Watch movies closely sometimes you can see reflections of cameras, extras, directors, etc moving, walking, shadows. Fun to try and find bloopers in all things.
