Unfortunately, it is normal for players to lose control of their temper during games, but they're still not as bad as their fans. Like the video on the source.

Yes I do believe (being a footballer myself) that is does happen to even the best of players. Its normally something that happens when a team is frustrated by opposition, which leads to one or two or more players ending in brawls, headbutts, fists, it does happen, every person in the world has a breaking point sometime or the other, some peoples break point just happens to be more frequent than others. I'd say every result of a player losing his temper is bad, because they affect the team in different ways, but its the team that suffers not the player, being a Liverpool FC fan, Steven Gerrard got sent off in a 3-1 win against Everton, though we won the game, the players were knackered trying to fill the hole that he left when he got sent off. I think because its a team sport any player losing his temper and getting sent off or whatever, is bad for the team.

In a soccer match, there is 90% of a chance that you lose your temper. But professionals should be good enough to control them.

The latest incident was, the ZIDANE head butt on MATERAZZI in the FIFA world cup finals 2006.
That cost France the title.

Zidane's world cup finale was a classic. There's that iconic picture of Vinny Jones punching someone (I feel like it was Gazza) in the nuts. Stuart Pearce has another iconic screaming image.

Of course, soccer fans are far, far worse, just look at Andres Escobar
