i'm a really peaceful stoner. i'm a pacifist and i would never get into a fight with anyone.

i used to think that all stoners are like this to a degree - we're all peaceful people.

but recently, i've begun to wonder. i've seen some marijuana users who are pretty crappy and arrogant people when they're stoned, and get into fights, if not physical, than psychological and verbal.

are stoners becoming more violent? what can be done?

Marijuana is becoming more and more mainstream. Although it still represents a hippie/stoner culture of peace, love, and music... it's integration into the mainstream means that a$$holes and $hitheads are now smoking it too, and although marijuana will tend to pacify the user, nothing will change the fact that some people are just douche bags.

I think its all in our perception of the world... the idea of the "sixties" stoner is a peace, love , etc. now a days weve been brought up seeing violence, listening to violence etc.
Ex. 69' Woodstock(peaceful & muddy) vs 04 woodstock(bombfires, rapes, assualts) its just a sign of the times man.....

No, they are not. The ones I know are selfish, controlling and lazy. Why not make your life happy instead of skipping it altogether?
