I bought a sansa 250m 2 gig mp3 player today and synchronized a bunch of songs onto it and it was working fine, but then i turned it off for awhile and when i turned it back on it said " not enough space for music DB. please free 8 MB." it also says "no files". so I thought i should just free 8 mb but whenever i plug the mp3 into the computer and sychronize songs or take off songs it says windows media player cannot synchronize please try again later. so it says theres no space, and to free 8mb, yet it also claims there are no files, so it doesn't really make any sense.

has anyone experienced this?

or any suggesions would be nice.

Yes, experienced the same thing and have called Sandisk for support. They have told me every single option they have to fix it but have not been able to get it fixed. I've also tried formatting the unit - it tries but also fails.
Last communication I had with customer service was they were going to send out a replacement and that was 2 months ago. Still nothing and have wasted my money on an inferior product.
Return the unit and exchange for another brand while you still can.

Did you place in the blanketed utility? you're able to have the skill to tug songs to the media converter that's blanketed in the utility and then press convert and then that is going to load them onto your participant.
