Oh Brother! you guys are waaaaaaaaay off the mark. My ex-fiance was 18 years younger than me...and we lived together (well) for 3 years & he was hot as hell! ---so was I! .
It's just that I haven't dated since then...and am finding men my age (over 55) are OLD FARTs...OR they want women 1/2 their age. & I don't want a man more than 15 years younger than me anymore. What now?

It's completely biological. Older men want nubile, fertile women and young men seek older women for experience so they can use it later on to attract such aforementioned younger women. But as human nature goes, people are attracted to all sorts. There's no rule of thumb, but I would have to say that our base animal biological instincts play a role.
