I've never heard this song but I love these lyrics. Everyone's interpretation will probably be different but here's mine: To me it feels as if this person in questioning the truth in the "stories they told". To me those stories are the bible. The Chorus "has noone told you..." seems to be a voice from Satan. He is trying to convince he/she that God is not really listening to them. This person is begging God to listen and still feels as though the truth is still "running through his veins!"
