If so, would I need an adapter of some sort? Or, would I be able to plug in my regular 3-prong USA-standard plug?

The last time I flew with them, no. And they won't allow you to plug it in either. That's what the flight attendant told me.

On the couple of short hops to Taiwan and back, I haven't noticed any.

For whatever it's worth, the AC mains here run 230 V 60 Hz, and outlets are identical to 2 pin USA outlets. A 3 pin to 2 pin adapter sometimes helps.
