Give more importance to yourself and have respect for the others. Even ifyou face rejection, let yourself believe that it is not the end of the world. People give maximum importance to themsleves, so they won;t remember for long that they have rejected you.

I think to over come what other people think about you, you have to over come what you think about yourself.

You need to start loving yourself! You need to realize that you are worthy without the opinions of others. If they reject you, they don't know what they are missing! Start concentrating on what you like about yourself. Make a list and read it everyday and maybe three times a day. Also, make a list of things you do well. Your hobbies and talents and concentrate on those things.

Start with things you have lots of confidence about within yourself. You can't make everybody like you so rest in only making YOU like yourself.

Literally talking to yourself and saying good affirmations about you on a daily basis will slowly create new thought patterns about yourself.

Stop imagining what other people must be thinking about you. Instead why dont you concentrate on your studies or work. That will help you build confidence.
