I would like to change so many things I wouldn't even know where to start. But the truth is I probably wouldn't change a thing because it would change too much of the future and the present. The first thing I thought when I read your question was to make sure that my mom married someone that she wouldn't divorce but then I realized that that would mean that I wouldn't know my dad who he is right now and that I would be a completely different person. And as much as I don't like certain elements of my life right now I could only imagine how much worse it would be for me, and if it were to be so much better then it is now then maybe my dad right now wouldn't have a great life. So even though no one can go back in time or into the future I think that's the way God intended it to be because if everyone could change something our lives would change every second. So I think if you want a deeper answer you should ask what event you would change, why, and what effect do you think it would have on the world.

If it was possible, i would have killed hitler so that so many people would have not died, but that would have lead to huge population explosion, so anyway we are okay now.
read this:
It has been suggested by physicists such as Max Tegmark that the absence of time travel and the existence of causality may be due to the anthropic principle. The argument is that a universe which allows for time travel and closed time-like loops is one in which intelligence could not evolve because it would be impossible for a being to sort events into a past and future or to make predictions or comprehend the world around them (at least, not if the time travel occurs in such a way that it disrupts that evolutionary process......that means we will be DOOMED if it were possible...

I know that changing the past would most likely cause some unfortunate events for the future that might be too intense to handle. But I think we all have a thing (sometimes we don't even realize it) that we want to change. As for me, I would want America to have realized global warming when other countries had arranged to do things about the situation.

Did you ever see the Time Machine? HG Wells author?
Rent them, the first one with Rod Taylor was great, and the second one was good too with Guy Pearce. They both went into the future not the past, and he found a time in civilization where we could all begin over, I think that is the safest way not to undo anything. And just think it would be marvelous to start from scratch.

Nothing. Anything that I change could have an affect on the events of today. You never know if you would hurt or help.
I would like to have been on Noah's boat during the big flood, though.

I would make it so that the emperor Constantine either never became a Christian, or prefent him from repealing the law requiring Christians to be put to death and making christianity the official religion of the Roman empire. It's all HIS fault....

changing the past creates a paradox and would bend the timeline into a loop, thus stopping it from progressing. Don't change the past, it screws everyone else over.
