Aaaargh! I've had it with hunting down drivers and fixing gaps because of re-installing my OS. They serious should include everything that was with it when it came from the factory.

Any answers would be appreciated, thanks! I'm tired of looking for answers, too.*lol*

More details:
I've uploaded everything they've supplied me . . . and my computer isn't the same as it was. It works, but there's not hibernation feature and I fixed problems with my video card by dloading the nVidia driver, but it's not enough. :-(

oops - and I went and downloaded drivers from Dell. Stuff is still missing, though.

Call Dell and tell them to supply you with all the drivers you need, they should have sent you that when you first bought the computer.

why would you have Dell do that ?

get a copy of XP, install it (boot to CD) and use your existing Authent. Key

or you can have Dell do and it will come back to you in 4 weeks, for something that took 30 minutes

Ask your vendor for your windows.
On the other hand, you can install a free Linux ;)
You can ship it for free from Ubuntu. Or download from a lot of sites.

dell.com should have a chipset driver pack for your model of laptop. you shouldn't have to 'hunt' just go to ther support page and type in your service tag or model# and pick drivers...
