I have owned both Ford & Holden & found that the holden was far more reliable & a lot cheaper to run & maintain. Plus they have a very good racing history & performance record, Plus they hold their market value real well. Unlike ford which seem to drop the guts out of their resale price with every model! Also I have found that Ford will keep a factory stuff up from their customer Just To Save Face & Money (I know of a certain BA XR6 Turbo Sedan That Had An Accident & When The Repairer Went To Fix The Rear Suspension They Found That It Had Standard Falcon Suspension & Differential! On A Performance Vehicle, & Ford Told The Repairer Not To Discolse The Information To The Owner Of The Vehicle!)

Lets just say this, GM is buying all of holden's stuff to market here in the U.S. and is having alot of succes. Ford isn't really going anywhere here and screwing up big time. I would go with Holden on the principle that they are basicly a leader in the car industry right now.
