As far as CLASSICAL guitars, I have a preference towards Alvarez Yairi (not Alvarez Artist). Quite a number come into my shop for setups from caring homes and they seem to be well built and they sound nice.

Although I have no experience with Ramirez, I understand that they are a good value as well.

The only bad thing about buying a classical is that they really don't "grow up" and get their real tone for 10 to 15 years, so it is always a good idea to spend a little more for an instrument that will be with you for a looooong time.
