We only define infinity as endless space and eternity as endless time because that's as much as we know, or understand, or conceive.
To answer your question, there can and there can't. Under the constraints of our current conception of time and space, NO, there's nothing else. But if we were to discover a new dimension, or the end/beginning of time, or an end/beginning to space, then YES, there would be something more.
Our understanding of the universe is relative to our knowledge of it. But, really, anything's possible.

If! The Universe is expanding but unbounded. Infinity is the measure of eternity. We speak of infinity as if we know for sure that it is the the same as the finite. Is it? The Creator put immutable laws of nature in place. We will be able to see the Universe as it is but it will take a big mind shift by scientists who still believe in Euclidean geometry, the lies and deceptions of scientists like Richard Feynman who hide behind the Hausenberg principle, people who still think that Newton and Copernicus were great scientists when they stole the work of other people as did Einstein, who admitted it but justified it. The real great scientists who believed and proved that we can see the Universe from the inside and do not have to get on a 'higher plane', often with drugs, are people like Keppler, Leibnitz, Gauss, Riemann. The same as electricity needs a conductive material to make it work mankind needs very special people who can see the laws of nature and interpret them. Kepler discovered the Real path of the planets, which is spherical, not circular and admitted he could go no further as a new kind of mathematics was required. This was delivered by Leibnitz and expanded on by Gauss and later scientists. On Yahoo, Geocities, there is a site, Riemann for Anti dummies.

Outside endless space and endless time? No!
By definition, everything and everywhen must exist inside infinity and eternity. The possibility of an "outside" only arises if you assume that time and space are finite.
Which then brings up the question - if time and space have limits, what lies outside those limits?

In my opinion, this is how I see it.
infinity as defined is 1/0 or an endless loop. Considering that space is "expanding" it is not infinite. It has a definite volume and size which continues out in all directions. In this case, we speak of things which only have logical meaning and not practical meaning. there is no infinity as nobody can be witness to it and will remain a scholarly subject for reference.
An eternity is simply a time line which does not end. it has a definite starting point though at which eternity is beginning to be measured from but goes on forever from that point forward. anything which has history has a time line attached.
When we conceptually think of things as progressing at a fixed rate with no change, we begin to think of "eternity" and "infinity" but there are no systems which are closed systems as to be part of that system requires you to interact with it and be an observer which in itself changes the system through your perception of it. (think of the earth revolving around the sun vs. the sun revolving around the earth) because we are fixed in our perception, we have limits on how we may understand things that we will never experience and that just makes forever is just a really long time and infinity just a really big number that we will not be able to count to.

That reminds me of a riddle: What is the beginning of every eternal end and the end of time and space?
Answer: The letter E!! Get it??
Ok, to answer YOUR question... Regarding infinity, I thought infinity was a number.
Regarding eternity, what do you mean can there be ANYthing else? Why, of course! There's EVERYTHING else. All that is and what you see now.

You can have a 2D thought process and see a 3D world. So its safe to say that someday we might be able to understand what is beyound us. Just keep self reflection and meditation and communication open and you will find all your answers in due time. Picture an empty vaccume of nothingness as best you can. Then fill it with Mass and watch what happens with your understanding of how the universe works right now. Its like a waking dream but keep perspective and dont be afraid to lose control every now and again.

Both infinity and eternity are abstract. They don't exist. You cant divide something into nothing (1/0) in our "real" life, as you can in mathematics.
Most religions contribute the infinity and eternity attributes to God. Most philosophers agree that God must have those attributes to be a real one.
Therefore infinity, eternity and God are outside our comprehension.

Why are you wanting to travel there?
I do definately, and I believe we might find aliens, that is assuming you believe as well. Ha Ha
And you are looking for the meaning of all this, well guess what you are in good company the whole scientific world is looking for the same answer as well. So go to www.astronomy.com and search there you will find the visuals amazing and see the many that can give you answers that will at least a reasonable facsimile of what you are looking for.

The breakdown of a single atom into its smaller components and a breakdown of one of them and a breakdown of that one, endless smaller and smaller pieces. Perhaps I could learn where the end of learning is? Can the learning process ever end, or does each bit of knowledge just show how much more there is to learn?
