Batman Begins was so much closer to the comic books Btman Year One Superman returns seemed freaking stupid I havent read one comic where superman has a kid that was ridiculous I hated that part The whole superman being gone for 5 years Also rediculaous and totally retarded, The original supman movies were great , The visiuals in superman returns were cool but the story drags on to the point I wanna hit myself Since when did superman become such a sad petetic weakling I wanna see him fighting someone who gives him a run for his money...WINNER BATMAN BEGINS!!

Batman Begins beats anything related to stuporman.
At least Batman is a real hero, in the classic sense: Stuporman's only weakness is Cripplenite? Gimme a break!
And yeah, I know it's technically "Superman" and "Kryptonite" -- but I think the terms I used are more apropos for the "Superman" mythos.
Superman is a comic for losers, posers, pretenders and wannabes. By contrast, Batman wrestles with the complexities of good and evil.
Batman pits compassion, humanity and reason against condemnation, prejudice and vengeance; Superman's ethic is an appeal to religiosity and false patriotism.
Simply put, any Batman story is vastly superior to every Superman story.

I did enjoy "Superman Returns", but "Batman Begins" was waaaay better because he's human. This, being the BEST in the WHOLE BATMAN library, was more personal than Superman was in his movie. He was more real.

I'd say "Superman Returns," since Supes knows how to keep his secret identity secret! Every Batman movie ever made (with the exception of "Batman: The Movie [Adam West, Burt Ward]) someone somehow always found out who Batman was. Why have a secret identity if everyone knows it?!
But i digress. I just love the whole Superman mythos: a god amongst mortals, being close to people, yet always staying apart from them...I just love a good superhero drama!

regardless of the inevitable batman vs. superman debate, Batman bigins was a better MOVIE.
Both had flaws, but Begins had far fewer. Superman Returns was basically a jumble of all things superman, just thrown in, i spent most of the movie wondering what the heck was going on and at the end I am still wondering what the heck happened!?!
Although Batman Bigins was slow at times (not as insufferable as the Hulk, though in my opinion) it had an actual plot and a story flow that worked.
And yes, batman is a Bad a-- cuz he doues everything with no actual "powers" but Superman, done right (saaaaaay, i dunno, Superman II) has a complexity of dealing with all that ultimate power without letting himself be corrupted by it

Superman Returns was terrible. The guy that played Superman was about as exciting as bowl of oatmeal. I miss Chris Reeve.
Batman Begins was cool. Kind of moving away from the original story though.

I liked Superman Returns best because Batman Begins was slow for an extended period of time in the beginning. It reminded me too much of the slowness in the beginning of The Hulk.

Batman he is so much cooler and he is better. on justice league superman would listen to batman because batman kalled superman and superman said later and batman said now so he came! thats just another reason why batman is better
